- Phone number or iMessage address — used to identify your account and deliver the Service
- Name — provided during onboarding
- Goals and motivations — including your main goal, supporting goals, and why your goals matter to you
- Preferences — your Dial Level, Friend Level, and other settings
- Messages — the content of messages you send to and receive from Zuko
Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage data — timestamps of messages, frequency of interaction
- Device information — when accessing the web portal, we may collect browser type, operating system, and IP address through standard server logs

We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Personalize your experience, including tailoring AI responses to your goals and preferences

3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Zuko AI:
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — Your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI model to generate responses. Anthropic's use of data is governed by their own privacy policy and data processing terms. We send message content and relevant context (goals, preferences) to generate personalized responses.
- BlueBubbles — We use BlueBubbles as a bridge to send and receive iMessage communications. Message content passes through this service for delivery purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on our servers in JSON format, associated with your phone number or iMessage address. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Conversation history is maintained to provide continuity in your interactions with Zuko. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 10). Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — You may request that we delete your personal information
